Tricolours go nuts for Pecans. Pecans departed the stable for a spell last preparation following two seconds and three wins which included the Group 3 success in the Belle Of The Turf at Gosford and she has once again stepped up for her first run in. The daughter of Skilled returned for the Hawkesbury stand alone meeting and she blew away a strong field of fillies and mares in the Group 3 Godolphin Crown Stakes. The mare was
purchased for $50,000 by Joe and James Moss for his Tricolours Syndications from the Godolphin dispersal draft in Melbourne last year. The mare has now accumulated over a quarter of a million in earnings since joining the team and is being set for Group 1 targets this Autumn.
