Miss Que overcame the biased track at Canterbury to win from out wide on Friday night. Corey Brown teamed up with the four year old mare and took a slightly different track from the rest of the winners on the night. Out of the seven races previous five winners came from on the rail or just one off so with Miss Que jumping from barrier ten the odds were not in her favour.

Upon jumping from the barriers Miss Que found herself seventh in running two wide. We had good speed upfront with SEVENTHCHIC on the rail but it was still going to be hard work hitting the front from that far back. Coming around the turn Miss Que was nine wide with the inside horses making up good ground. However once she saw daylight and straightened up at the 300m, she demonstrated a mean turn of foot. She lengthened right down to the line to win by 1L.

Miss Que is a very well bred filly by the super stallion Fastnet Rock out the same dam as Cluster, TARCOOLA DIAMOND.

Congratulations to her owners/breeders, Peter and Wendy Moran.
