Our beautiful bay mare does is again! PECANS wins the Lander Toyota Ladies Day Cup at Hawkesbury on the 8th November as the $3.30 favourite.

NZ jockey Jason Collett teamed up our queen who carried 55kg's over the 1400 metre trip on ground rated a soft 5.

Pecans jumped well into stride from barrier five and settled third in the run, just on the pace.

She travelled well thorughout the race before swooping four wide around the home turn in hope to find the better ground. By the 250 metre mark on the home straight Collett called upon Pecans to find an extra stride and that she did.

Pecans toughed it out until the end, beating Mark Newnham trained BURNING PASSION to the line.

Pride Racing would like to congratulate Tri Colours, owners and connections on their continued success with this marvellous mare and look forward to what else she can bring to the table this preperation.
