COSMOLOGIST proves just how consistent he is as he storms home to win the Schweppes Handicap at Royal Randwick on Saturday 6th October, making it his 3rd win in 4 race starts this prep.

We were lucky enough to have in form apprentice Sam Weatherley take up the ride, which left Cosmo carrying just 56kg's after the 2 kilo claim.

The Superhorse owned 5 year old really is proving to be a super horse!

Paying $5.50, Cosmo jumped well from barrier 6 and covered the heavy 8 ground swiftly to find the lead. By the first corner, Sam had eased Cosmo into a 3 length lead before steadying the tempo as they ran into the head wind along the back straight at Randwick.
Cosmo cruised into the home turn and was held together patiently by the apprentice until a length after the 400 metre mark where he was then asked to lengthen.

Despite tiring slightly within the last few metres of the race, Cosmo was too far ahead for the rest of the field to catch and dug deep to hang onto the lead and win.

Pride Racing are thrilled to see Cosmo get another win under his belt and are more than delighted for Ross Williams, Superhorse owners and connections on their continued success.
