Choice Harvest returned to Wyong to prove his point for the second time. The son of Choisir jumped well and Jeff Penza continued forward to take the lead from the wide gate. Jeff was able to control the race and when approching the 300m he was still 3/4 of a length in front. Coming down to the final stages, VANILOQUIO (IRE) challenged on the outside but Choice Harvest found another gear and won comfortably.

Choice Harvest has had five starts this prep for two wins, a second and two thirds. The three year old gelding was purchased at the 2016 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale for $100,000 and has already won more than half of his purchase price in prize money.

With the Magic Millions sale once again around the corner, do not forget to get in touch and register your interest in any of our purchases this year.

Gamblestown put in a very brave performance at Randwick earlier in the day with Jay Ford in the YOUTH INSEARCH INSPIRE MILE for Proven Thoroughbreds. Bouncing back from his 2.1L defeat at Warwick Farm earlier in the month, Gamblestown was all heart in the last 100m. Jumping from barrier five, he secured a position mid field. POSITIVE PROBLEMS made it a fast run race when taking up a 4 length lead. With the hot pace up front, Gamblestown found himself off the bridle in the early stages. However once he balanced up around the bend he started to get traction. When approching the 200m Gamblestown made up an impressive six lengths to make a very competitive photo finish. Unfortunately, Gamblestown was third in the photo only beaten 0.2L but overall it was very tenacious run and he gave his loyal owners a nail biting race.

Jamie Walter will also be attending the Magic Millions this week aiming to find the next Proven Thoroughbred/Pride Racing champion. So remember to register your interest with Jamie so you don't miss out!
