Bon Equus and Jason Collett joined forces for the win at Gosford on Thursday. The pair were coming off a near miss last start at Kembla when they were only beaten 0.3l.

Bon Equus seems to be appreciating the step up in distance and Gosford was no exception. After jumping from barrier two Bon Equus secured a position further back than expected when sitting two pairs off the lead.
However he demonstrated his versatility when coming wide around the field and heading the pack at the top of the straight.

Jason Collett got to work in the final stages and the pair went on to win by 1.87L.

Bon Equus is the little brother of stable war horse Destiny's Kiss, he seems to have found his form again at these staying trips and looking forward Joe would be keen to place him in the Orange showcase meeting over 2100m in the cup.

Congratulations to our long standing client Nick Moraitis
