Passage Of Time may have carried top weight, but that didn't stop him at Rosehill on Saturday.

Passage Of Time returned to the stable with a significant gear change this preparation and seems to have found his form as a gelding. With two wins from four starts already under his belt, Joe was confident heading into the 1300m on Saturday.

Sam Clipperton had already secured a win on the gelding in May at the Kensington track so was delighted to pair up with the son of Northern Meteor again.

Once the gates flew open, the Gooree bred gelding took his spot at the front of the field. As they approached the turn, Sam had a double handful and knew his mount had plenty more to give. Once they had straightened, Passage Of Time knuckled down to attack the line with a length to spare.

The Pride Racing team were delighted to get the win for Gooree Stud and looking forward, Passage of Time will now be aimed at the Civic Stakes on the 29th.
