LA CHICA BELLA strides on to victory at Rosehill on Saturday under leading metro apprentice Rachel King. Our quirky 4 year old mare was placed to win on Saturday with a step up in distance following her two promising previous city runs and win she did, cruising in by 1.8 lengths as second favourite on the day paying $4.40.

Despite the wide draw, 'Bella' jumped quickly from barrier 10 and was fast into stride to settle second in the run just on the leaders heels. At the turn for home, 'Bella' strided on to join the leader and kicked away at the 300 metre mark to go on and win the race easily.
